About Me

My name is Sarah Durham and I am a senior at New York University's Tisch School of the Arts majoring in Collaborative Arts and minoring in Studio Art. I'm an multi-disciplinary artist who considers myself a director, choreographer, actor, dancer, poet, designer, photographer, film maker, and arts educator. Most importantly, though, I am a storyteller

My main artistic interests lie in the intersection between dance and technology, live theatre, and accessibility to the arts and arts education, although that merely scratches the surface of the art I make. Most recently, I was assistant directing a new musical at the St. Lou Fringe Festival and student teaching in a public school dance classroom here in New York City. I have training in stage directing, both stage and film acting, ballet, tap dance, jazz dance, and modern dance. I have also have experience with the Adobe Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, and Premiere Pro), TinkerCAD and Blender, AbeltonLive, TouchDesigner, Arduinos, Unreal Engine, digital DSLR cameras, and 35mm film.
